12 week  sessions
September 14 - December 7 (NO class on 11/23)
Tuesdays at 10AM or Thursdays at 4PM
Class will run 45 minutes

Three stories will be used - one every four weeks - “Where the Wild Things Are”, “Peter Rabbit” and one TBA.
Our stories will be brought to life with Theatrical play - including dress up(costume) and props.  Music - including lap songs(well known traditional music as well as a variety of different cultures), incorporating different instrument play into our story and composing a simple song.  Movement - including dances as the characters and make believe movement as the character in the stories.

This class fosters your children's imagination, as well as your own! Parent(caregiver) participation is highly encouraged.  The amount of fun and freedom with which you play in class greatly impacts your child's experience.  The use of our voices and bodies moving to and making music develop basic coordination, rhythm and music competence.  The lyrics to songs, chants and story all help develop speech and language skills and of course the social/communication skills that are being fostered - sharing, listening, compassion, self confidence, creative problem solving and all in a non-competitive playful environment.
