This class is designed to introduce young people, ages 9-14, to the exciting world of the theatre. For 12 weeks, students explore the craft of acting and learn the discipline of performing, as they develop their own unique voices. Students create art projects that become part of their set, used as props and/or part of their costumes.
Rehearsal/class will be held on Tuesdays at 6 PM - 7:30 PM. Performance will be held December 4th.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to act along with 1-2 adult professional actor/educators in each production. Participants develop poise, movement, speaking, and acting skills as they explore improvisation, theatre games, character development and the many skills of professional actors.
Our Fall/Winter production is an original adaptation, "A Carol of a Christmas" written by Marianne Ryan with music and lyrics written by Christy Zarlengo and Marianne Ryan.
Our Winter/Spring production will be created and written by the cast. Expanding their creativity and empowering their own unique voice!
